What is Brand Licensing?
Brand Licensing by definition allows for the rental of well known brands (The Licensor) for the use in another set of products or services (The Licensee) and this is facilitated by an agent (BWO).
A well known and popular brand whose brand value and image are sought after by other companies. They charge what is known as a ‘licensing fee’ for the use of their brand.
After paying the licensing fee, the Licensee now has the right to use for their products based on certain guidelines and rules laid out by the Licensor.
BWO - The Agents
This is where we, Black White and Orange, come in. Our job is to make it easier for both the companies to get value for money. We do this by helping negotiate the contracts, providing creative solutions and clarifying various do’s and don’t’s for the Licensee.
This is where we begin to go the extra mile. We have a dedicated team which helps give the Licensee innovative ways in which they can apply the brand over their range of products and services. All under the guidance of the Licensor of course!
